Mission
I am looking for a Payables and Receivables Supervisor for a company located in the Laurentians. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supervising, motivating, and developing a team of 15 to 20 unionized employees (coordinators, technicians, and clerks).
- Assigning work, setting priorities, and ensuring the effective management of daily operations.
- Manage team performance, including goals, evaluations, and coaching.
- Oversee all activities related to accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Participate in process optimization and the continuous improvement of operations.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve the department's efficiency.
- Other related tasks.
Your profile
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation or in the process of obtaining it (a plus).
- At least 2 years of experience in supervising or managing a team.
- Experience in a high-volume transactional environment.
- Experience managing unionized staff (strongly preferred).
- Good understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Experience in a large corporation.
What we offer:
