Hello! My name is Angela, and I am a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Supply, a specialized recruitment agency focused on supply chain, logistics, transportation, and customer service. We recruit for both temporary and permanent positions throughout the Greater Montreal Area.

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company undergoing a major transformation, is looking for a Business Process Owner (BPO) - Procure-to-Pay to play a key role in modernizing its operations and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a strategic transformation project, with a direct impact on purchasing, procurement, and supplier management processes.

Reporting to the Business Process Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process, from supplier management through payment. Acting as a functional subject matter expert, the BPO will work closely with Purchasing, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to define future-state processes and support their integration into D365. This is a cross-functional role with no direct reports, combining procurement expertise, business process analysis, ERP transformation, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, document, and optimize Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including direct and indirect purchasing, supplier management, purchase orders, receiving, and invoicing.
  • Identify inefficiencies and define future-state processes as part of the D365 implementation.
  • Translate Purchasing and Procurement requirements into functional system specifications.
  • Participate in functional testing, solution validation, data cleansing, and migration preparation.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Production, Maintenance, Inventory, and IT teams to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Develop process documentation, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support users through training, process adoption, and change management initiatives.
  • Contribute to system deployment, post-implementation support, and continuous improvement activities.

Candidate Profile

  • Approximately 3-5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or business process management.
  • Manufacturing experience is essential, with a solid understanding of raw materials, MRP, and production requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes, supplier management, and cross-functional business operations.
  • ERP experience is required; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a strong asset.
  • Experience in continuous improvement, process documentation, or ERP implementation projects is an asset.
  • College diploma or university degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Bilingual French-English required.

Working Conditions & Benefits

  • Project bonus, paid upon achievement of key implementation milestones.
  • Comprehensive group insurance, 90% employer-paid.
  • Retirement plan with employer contributions of up to 6%.
  • Flexible schedule, primarily on-site with occasional remote work.
  • Permanant position offering career development opportunities beyond the D365 implementation.
