I'm Ella Tiberghien, Recruitment Consultant with FED Manu Tech.
I'm currently recruiting a Production Support Technician for a manufacturing company specialized in immersive entertainment technologies and solutions.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an electronics technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working closely with production teams and having a direct impact on day-to-day operations.
Mission As part of the Production Support team, you will act as a Level 3 technical resource for production operators, stepping in when issues require deeper technical troubleshooting.
Your responsibilities will include: - Troubleshooting complex production issues and identifying practical solutions; - Troubleshooting and updating Lab VIEW-based production test benches; - Performing PCB soldering and basic electronic repairs; - Supporting the repair team with technical issues and diagnostics; - Understanding operators' observations and translating non-technical problems into actionable technical solutions; - Supporting technical projects, including supplier-related activities; - Working closely with production, repair and engineering teams to keep operations running smoothly.
This is primarily a hands-on troubleshooting and production support position, within a manual assembly environment rather than a highly automated production line.
Your profile We are looking for a hands-on technician who is comfortable investigating problems independently and working directly with production teams. - DEC in Electronics, Electrotechnology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field; - 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; - Strong Lab VIEW experience - mandatory; - Experience with PCB soldering and basic electronic repair; - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; - Mechanical skills or experience with design software such as Solid Works are considered an asset; - Strong French communication skills; - Professional English for communication with international suppliers, particularly in Asia.
You are patient, proactive and resourceful, with the communication skills needed to work effectively with operators who may not have a technical background.
Working Conditions - Salary: $70,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience; - Primarily on-site to provide direct production support; - Some schedule flexibility; - Hands-on technical environment involving equipment, test benches and electronic products; - Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and international suppliers; - Opportunity to contribute to technical projects in addition to day-to-day production support.
If you enjoy troubleshooting, working hands-on and finding practical solutions to technical problems, this could be a great opportunity for you.
I'd be happy to discuss the position and the environment with you in more detail.
