Mission
I am looking for an accounting technician for a construction company in Laval. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the books and performing routine accounting entries;
- Managing accounts payable, from verifying invoices to preparing payments;
- Handling invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, and assisting with collections;
- Recording and reconciling deposits and participating in accounting reconciliations;
- Participating in monthly and annual closings as well as the preparation of various financial reports;
- Assisting with inventory tracking and government rebates;
- Preparing the documents required for external audits;
- Handling follow-ups related to the CCQ, contract terminations, and release forms;
- Helping improve processes and internal controls;
- Collaborating with the finance department and various teams within the company.
Your Profile:
- Hold a DEC or DEP in accounting, or equivalent training;
- Experience in the construction industry (payments and terminations);
- Experience with Acomba (a plus);
- Be self-reliant, organized, thorough, and able to manage multiple priorities.
