Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its accounting function and oversee a team of accounting professionals.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, this position is responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, month-end and year-end activities, audit coordination, budgeting support, and the ongoing development of accounting processes and systems.
This role offers a unique blend of hands-on accounting, leadership responsibility, and business partnership within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals Oversee the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and financial reporting systems Coordinate internal and external audit requirements Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to leadership Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and reporting efficiencies Assist with ERP optimization and systems enhancements Partner with operational and business leaders to support organizational objectives CPA designation preferred5+ years of progressive accounting experience Previous leadership experience managing and developing teams Strong financial reporting and technical accounting expertise Experience overseeing the full accounting cycle Advanced Excel skills Experience working with ERP systems Manufacturing experience considered an asset Strong understanding of internal controls and audit processes Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
