As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of our accounts payable function, making sure our clients and vendors are paid accurately and on time. You’ll manage the full accounts payable cycle, reconcile accounts, and make sure every payment is backed by the right documentation. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll work closely with the Finance team and across JPC. Your goal is to keep our payables accurate, timely, and audit-ready, so our clients, vendors, and team can count on us.

  • Minimum of 2 years post secondary school education (i.e. Diploma in Accounting or greater).
  • Experience working in Accounting Systems and spreadsheets.
  • Experience managing the full accounts payable cycle and account reconciliations.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.

What You’ll Own

  • Process vendor invoices and payments accurately, on time, and in the right accounting period.
  • Manage payment queues and approval workflows in our Accounting Systems.
  • Reconcile and pay monthly corporate credit card transactions, wire transfers, and manual payments.
  • Maintain vendor records and payment terms.
  • Complete month-end reconciliations, account analyses, and reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date reconciliations of prepaid expenses and accrued liabilities, and bring any discrepancies to management’s attention.
  • Complete monthly sales tax reporting and remittances ahead of deadlines, and follow up on sales tax refunds.
  • Support the year-end audit and contribute ideas to improve how we work.
