This intermediate-level position supports JGL's accounting team across core financial processes and administrative operations. You will prepare records, reporting packages, reconciliations, and journal entries while assisting month-end and year-end close activities. The work also includes regulatory reporting and discrepancy resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare reporting packages and KPI reporting
- Complete required tax and regulatory reporting
- Investigate and resolve financial data discrepancies
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Intermediate accounting experience with core function knowledge
- Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
