As Program and Events Coordinator, you will organize family celebrations, Big Sibling events, Shining Stars, hospital programs, fundraising events, and out-of-province trips. You will also coordinate Camp Lifeline, including Trip Camp planning, staffing, transportation, activities, supplies, and camper wellbeing. The position works with Fundraising, Family Services, Volunteer, and operations teams to meet program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate family, holiday, hospital, and sibling events
- Coordinate venues, vendors, transportation, accommodations, and event supplies
- Communicate family needs, accessibility, dietary, and medical considerations
- Plan Camp Lifeline activities, staffing, logistics, and communications
- Maintain records, reports, feedback summaries, and program documentation
Requirements:
- Five or more years' event planning or program coordination experience
- Supervisory camp experience with strong leadership skills
- Excellent organization, communication, multitasking, and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and regular access to a car
- Microsoft Suite and WhatsApp proficiency with a smartphone
