Lead electrical construction across remote mining projects as a site-based Electrical Superintendent with contractor coordination and commissioning expertise. This FIFO camp role supports complex industrial infrastructure. JDS Energy & Mining seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent to direct field execution on active mining and construction projects. The position connects engineering, construction, contractors, and commissioning teams. Work includes temporary and permanent power systems, batch plant electrical, CSA-compliant modular equipment, and a 10MW power plant supporting freeze operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical construction and installation activities on site
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field crews
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and energization of power systems
- Monitor productivity, quality, schedules, and contractor performance
- Coordinate planning, inspections, documentation, and turnover packages
Requirements:
- Experience supporting mining and construction project execution
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and CSA standards
- Capability coordinating LOTO, isolation, and energization procedures
- Commitment to safe, ethical, accountable field leadership
