Become a vital part of the CNRL Albian team as a Journeyperson Machinist through Heartland Constructors Inc. This position offers a structured day shift on a 7/7 schedule.
As part of Jardeg, you will be recruited for a permanent Machinist role starting September 8th at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Your responsibilities will include operating sophisticated machining equipment and performing specialized repairs for heavy mining equipment. This position is ideal for someone with a solid background in precision machining and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overhaul large open cut mining equipment
- Conduct precision onsite machining and line boring
- Perform maintenance tasks to OEM specifications
- Read and interpret complex technical drawings
- Work on various CAT and Komatsu equipment
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification
- Pass Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
- Experience with field machining and CLIMAX tools
- Basic Rigging and CSTS training required
- Valid driver's license with good record
