Manage Canadian and US benefits, retirement, and wellness programs as a Benefits Specialist with Jamieson Wellness in Windsor or the Greater Toronto Area, hybrid.
This 18-month contract reports to the Director, Total Rewards. You will coordinate plan administration, renewals, provider relationships, employee communications, and disability programs. The position supports accurate records, timely service, reconciliations, and program improvements across Canada and the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer benefits, retirement, disability, EFAP, and wellness programs
- Coordinate renewals, RFPs, plan changes, and provider timelines
- Reconcile invoices, payroll records, enrolments, and provider data
- Manage disability claims, accommodations, and return-to-work coordination
- Prepare communications, reports, presentations, and recommendations
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in HR Management or equivalent experience
- Three or more years administering group benefits and retirement plans
- Knowledge of eligibility, enrolment, disability, leaves, and privacy
- Strong Excel, analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
- Professional communication, organization, judgment, and discretion
