Lead supplier quality development at Jamesway Chick Master in Cambridge, using APQP and PPAP to strengthen global manufacturing performance. This position is on-site. Reporting to the Quality Director, the Supplier Quality Engineer leads supplier improvement and advanced quality planning. The work spans Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Production, Customer Care, and suppliers. You will support launches, engineering changes, warranty reduction, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
Manage supplier scorecards, KPIs, audits, reviews, and improvement plans Lead SCARs and verify timely corrective-action closure Coordinate APQP and approve PPAP submissions Review PFMEAs, Control Plans, capability studies, and FAI reports Identify supplier risks affecting quality, cost, timing, or delivery Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Five-plus years in supplier quality or related industrial roles Experience managing suppliers and corrective actions Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and FAI Ability to travel in Canada and internationally as required Apply mechanical engineering expertise, supplier accountability, and advanced quality planning to support Jamesway’s global poultry incubation products.
