Lead capital analysis and LICAT reporting at ivari in Toronto, applying actuarial expertise to regulatory frameworks and enterprise-wide stress testing. As Managing Actuary, you will conduct Corporate Actuarial tasks across capital management, Financial Condition Testing, and experience studies. The position requires expertise with IFRS 17, LICAT, and life insurance products. You will also guide junior actuarial staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate regulatory capital results and business drivers to management
- Analyze capital impacts of results and alternative assets
- Coordinate quarterly LICAT reporting and sensitivity testing
- Streamline valuation and capital infrastructure under current frameworks
- Coach junior actuarial staff through technical development
Requirements:
- Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries designation
- University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related area
- Minimum seven years of relevant life insurance experience
- Knowledge of IFRS 17, LICAT, AXIS, and Risk Integrity
- Strong communication, analytical, coaching, and problem-solving abilities
