This full-time Corporate Actuarial position supports the Managing Actuary, FP&A. You will prepare management presentations, analyze earnings variance drivers, and coordinate financial planning inputs. The work includes life insurance reporting, business analytics, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Prepare management reports, presentations, and board materials
- Analyze earnings drivers against plans and prior periods
- Coordinate annual financial plan inputs across teams
- Support scenarios, tools, models, and process improvements
Requirements:
- Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or related area
- At least three years' relevant life insurance experience
- Associate designation from the Society or Canadian Institute of Actuaries
- Knowledge of individual life, annuity, IFRS 17, and LICAT frameworks
- Strong Excel, communication, and interpersonal skills
