Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale banking applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on full stack development experience, strong technical leadership capabilities, and prior experience working in the banking/financial services domain. The role requires close collaboration with onshore stakeholders, driving technical discussions, and resolving technical challenges across the development lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of software development experience with Java technologies.
- Lead technical discussions with onshore stakeholders, manage offshore team responsibilities and technical blockers.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Extensive experience with Angular (Angular 10+ preferred).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
- Prior banking or financial services industry experience is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
