IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe and APAC. With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.

The Document Control Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining the document management framework across all active Technical Program Management (TPM) programs supporting IREN's AI infrastructure and GPU data centre portfolio. This role ensures that all project documentation β€” from engineering drawings and approvals to vendor submittals and as-built records β€” is properly controlled, version-managed, and accessible to the right stakeholders at the right time.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and maintain the project folder architecture on SharePoint β€” enforcing naming conventions, version control, metadata, and access permissions
  • Implement and manage a document control register β€” tracking document status (draft, under review, approved, superseded) across all program deliverables
  • Receive, log, and distribute vendor submittals, engineering drawings, rack elevation designs, and technical documentation to the appropriate reviewers
  • Ensure all program review artifacts are complete, filed, and signed off before milestone closure
  • Manage document revision cycles β€” tracking changes, maintaining version history, and archiving superseded documents
  • Support the creation and maintenance of as-built documentation packages for customer handoff
  • Produce document status reports and outstanding documentation trackers for weekly program reviews
  • Maintain runbook and SOP libraries β€” ensuring operational documents are current and accessible post go-live

What You Bring

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in a document control or records management role
  • Strong proficiency in SharePoint β€” folder architecture, permissions, and version control
  • Experience managing controlled documents in a project or engineering environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage documentation across multiple concurrent programs

Preferred

  • Experience in infrastructure, data center, construction, or engineering environments
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management document control standards
  • Experience with document management systems β€” Procore, Aconex, eB, or equivalent
  • Exposure to vendor submittal management or technical drawing control
