Our clients are biotech and pharmaceuticalcompanies across North America. We run company-wide AI programs month by month: training,platform setup, and working tools built with each department.This is a remote position based in Canada, with flexible hours.You build the systems that connect our clients' AI tools to their data, safely. You designand ship integrations between Claude, ChatGPT and the platforms our clients run on, and youwork directly with their IT teams and managed service providers. You report to the founderand work with our security lead and developers.**What you will do*** Design and build MCP servers and connectors that give AI tools controlled access to client systems such as Box, Benchling, NetSuite, SharePoint and Egnyte* Set up identity and access for AI rollouts: single sign-on, SCIM provisioning and offboarding, permissions and audit logging with Okta or Microsoft Entra ID* Turn data rules into working controls: sensitivity labels and encryption in Microsoft Purview, read-only access, retention and log export* Build working tools for client teams: document pipelines, retrieval over approved document sets, agents and automations* Explain your designs to client IT, security and quality teams, and write the documentation they need to approve them* Review the code of our junior developer and set the engineering standards**What you bring*** 5 or more years building and running production software or IT systems* Integrations you designed and shipped: APIs, identity (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM), cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP)* Strong Python or TypeScript* Things you have built with LLM APIs, MCP or agents, and daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor* The ability to explain a design to a client's IT team and to a non-technical executive* Experience in life sciences, healthcare or another regulated industry is a plus* Flawless written and spoken English* Availability during North American business hours, Eastern and Pacific**What we offer*** Fully remote, with flexible hours* Salary CAD 125,000 to 155,000* Real client systems at biotech and pharmaceutical companies, from design to production* Direct work with the founder and our security lead* The latest AI tools, paid for## Apply for this jobThe application asks for contact details, a few questions and your resume.Step 1 of 4Personal informationStart with your full nameOther open positionsYou are welcome to apply to more than one role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
