This supervisory position oversees stewarding across a hotel setting, including kitchen, banquet, restaurant, and back-of-house areas. The work combines recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management, inventory control, and sanitation oversight. You will partner with Culinary, Food & Beverage, Banquet, and Engineering teams while supporting special events and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop the Stewarding team
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across operational areas
- Oversee dishwashing and pot-washing operations
- Champion food safety and regulatory compliance
- Monitor productivity, labor costs, and performance
Requirements:
- Three to five years of progressive stewarding experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience managing teams
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
- Experience managing staffing, schedules, inventories, and budgets
- Food Safe certification required; HACCP certification an asset
