Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this Accountant supports monthly and annual financial statements across Digital, Retail, Manufacturing, and Admin/Corporate. The work includes journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, variance analysis, accruals, and compliance. You will coordinate with departments across North America while supporting Lush's ethical business practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries for monthly financial reporting
- Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
- Manage prepaid, sales, commission, and expense accruals
- Complete Canadian and US lease accounting reconciliations
- Support audits and maintain accounting control procedures
Requirements:
- CPA designation or enrollment in CPA PEP
- Three or more years of accounting experience
- Month-end close experience in multi-entity environments
- Lease accounting experience and strong Excel skills
- Effective communication, initiative, and prioritization abilities
