Manage contaminated site projects with PGL Environmental Consultants in Vancouver, Langley, or Victoria, using environmental assessment and project management expertise. Flexible home or office work is available as needed. This intermediate consultant role covers planning, management, and execution of contaminated site projects. Work includes Phase 1 and Phase 2 assessments, remediation, hydrogeology investigations, monitoring programs, and regulatory reporting. You will coordinate project teams, provide technical direction, and interact with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage work plans, budgets, field activities, and final reports
- Conduct contaminated site investigations and remediation projects
- Advise clients on technical contaminated site issues
- Mentor junior staff and review their technical work
- Develop proposals, presentations, and industry relationships
Requirements:
- Six to ten-plus years of environmental consulting experience
- Degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or related discipline
- Eligibility for P.Eng., P.Ag., or P.Geo. registration
- Knowledge of British Columbia and Canadian environmental regulations
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel provincially
- Bring contaminated site investigation, budget management, client service, and mentoring skills to PGL’s environmental consulting projects.
