Support resident independence as a Care Aide with Interior Health, providing patient-centered assistance within a multidisciplinary long-term care team.
This experienced Care Aide works at Pleasant Valley Manor in Armstrong, BC, under RN and LPN direction. You will contribute to individual care plans while supporting physical, emotional, and social needs. The relief part-time schedule includes rotating day and evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents' personal care and daily living needs
- Assist mobility, transfers, and equipment-related activities
- Maintain safe and healthy environments through housekeeping
- Perform clerical duties and delegated tasks
- Report changes in patient behavior and condition
Requirements:
- Grade 10 education
- Completion of recognized Nursing Assistant or Health Care Aide training
- Equivalent education, training, and experience combination
- Active registration with the BC Care Aide registry
- Active registry number included with application
