Interior Health seeks an experienced Care Aide for its Long-term Care team. Working under RN and LPN direction, you will support individual care plans and residents' physical, emotional, and social needs. The relief part-time opportunity is scheduled for rotating days and evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities
- Support mobility, transfers, and related equipment use
- Perform temperature, pulse, and respiration procedures
- Observe and report changes in behavior and condition
- Accompany clients during outings and social activities
Requirements:
- Grade 10 education
- Recognized Nursing Assistant or Health Care Aide Program graduation
- Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered
- Registration with the BC Care Aide registry
- Include your active registry number
