Interior Health seeks an experienced Perianesthesia Registered Nurse for its Post Anesthetic Recovery Room team. The position provides nursing care independently and within an interdisciplinary team. It also supports patient and family quality of life, clinical competence, committees, and approved research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care independently and within interdisciplinary teams
- Enhance quality of life for patients and families
- Consult, confer, and collaborate with healthcare providers
- Apply continuous improvement and evidence-based nursing practice
- Participate in committees and approved research projects
Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Hold current BCCNM practicing registration
- Advanced preparation in perianesthesia or critical care nursing
- One year recent related clinical experience
- Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered
