Interior Health seeks an organized, proactive Administrative Assistant for confidential support to the Ambulatory Admin team. You will coordinate schedules, meetings, travel, onboarding activities, documentation, financial reports, projects, education sessions, and communications. The position supports directors and management staff while maintaining professional relationships and information confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate workflow, schedules, meetings, travel, and competing priorities
- Compose confidential correspondence for management signatures
- Create presentations, orientation packages, spreadsheets, and documentation
- Maintain confidential client care, personnel, finance, and operational information
- Support department communication, alignment, and efficient operations
Requirements:
- Diploma and graduation from a recognized secretarial program
- Three to five years of administrative support experience
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and SharePoint
- Strong verbal, written, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Ability to type 50 words per minute professionally
