Interior Health seeks a Food Service Worker for its Support Services team. This relief full-time opportunity lasts until the incumbent returns. Duties include portioning meals, assembling food items, preparing ingredients, and delivering meal carts within dining room or cafeteria operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portion and serve meals and beverages
- Count, weigh, and measure assigned ingredients
- Wash and peel vegetables and fruit
- Assemble beverages, sandwiches, salads, and bag lunches
- Set up carts and clean food service areas
Requirements:
- Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Food Safe Certificate
- Reliable, flexible, and motivated approach
- Availability for rotating evening shifts
- Ability to work scheduled 11:45 to 19:55 shifts
