Interior Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for its MHSU Emergency Room team. You will work within a multidisciplinary care team, providing evidence based treatment and clinical supports. The permanent full time schedule rotates days and nights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and treatment across available mental health services
- Deliver case management and community support to clients
- Use specialized treatment modalities with individuals, groups, and families
- Provide urgent response when required for clients in crisis
- Consult with Emergency Department and acute mental health services
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse designation
- Experience working with mental health and substance use clients
- Reliable, flexible, and motivated approach to nursing
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Availability for permanent full time employment
