Interior Health seeks an experienced Care Aide for its Long-term Care team. Working under RN and LPN direction, you will support individual care plans, physical, emotional, and social needs, and maximum independence. This relief part-time opportunity is 0.95 until the incumbent returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care and daily living
- Support mobility, transfers, and related equipment
- Perform temperature, pulse, and respiration procedures
- Observe and report behavior or condition changes
- Accompany clients during outings and social activities
Requirements:
- Experienced Care Aide background
- Ability to work under RN and LPN direction
- Availability for rotating day and evening shifts
- Ability to perform delegated and clerical tasks
