This Operations Coordinator supports patient-centered pharmacy care under banners including Sobeys, Safeway, Thrifty Foods, Foodland, Lawtons Drugs, and FreshCo. Daily work combines customer transactions, refill requests, pill pack assembly, prescription filing, and administrative controls. The coordinator also supports drug orders, BTC management, deliveries, and required pharmacy activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions and receive or release prescriptions
- Record refill requests and pharmacy deliveries
- Assemble pill packs and file prescriptions
- Order supplies and create or receive drug orders
- Schedule professional clinical services for patients
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or recognized pharmacy program preferred
- Pharmacy Technology Certificate preferred for this position
- Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Ability to work independently and follow company standards
