As Manager, Government Relations, you will develop and execute strategies aligned with IFC’s business objectives. You will collaborate with Legal, Climate, Social Impact, Communications, and business teams. The role supports IFC’s profile, reputation, and influence with governments, regulators, associations, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop government relations strategies aligned with business objectives
- Manage federal and provincial advocacy efforts
- Monitor public policy and political issues affecting key markets
- Advise senior leaders and business units
- Maintain relationships with government decision makers and stakeholder groups
Requirements:
- Minimum eight years’ government relations or public affairs experience
- Minimum five years leading or managing direct reports
- Post-secondary education in Political Science or related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Financial services or insurance issues experience is an asset
- Bring strategic advocacy, policy analysis, and relationship management expertise to Intact’s government relations team across Canada.
