Lead legal claims litigation at Intact in Dartmouth through team leadership, quality reviews, and collaboration with Claims leadership. This permanent role follows a hybrid work model. As Manager, Legal Claims, you will oversee in-house Lawyers and support their employee experience. You will coach the team, analyze legal trends, and partner with management on strategy and operations. The role combines litigation expertise, people development, and change management. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily responsibilities for in-house Lawyers Establish and measure team performance objectives Provide ongoing feedback, mentoring, and coaching Review legal files and provide guidance and training Analyze reports while monitoring and predicting legal trends Requirements:
LL.B or J.D. degree Membership with Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society Knowledge of Nova Scotia Civil Procedure Rules Insurance and related law knowledge Experience leading a large team through change Bring litigation expertise, people leadership, and change management skills to Intact’s legal claims team in Dartmouth.
