Job Description
Insight Global is in search for an AI Enablement Engineer for a leading Global Fashion Retailer to support a new AI Enablement function focused on empowering engineering teams to effectively leverage AI, data, and platform capabilities at scale.
As an AI Enablement Engineer, you will play a critical role in improving the developer experience across the organization by creating the tools, documentation, standards, and internal platforms that help engineers discover, adopt, and successfully implement AI-powered solutions.
Working closely with Engineering, Platform, Data, Analytics, and AI teams, you will bridge the gap between technical innovation and practical adoption.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys enabling other engineers to move faster, solve problems more efficiently, and deliver business value through well-designed developer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve developer experiences that enable engineering teams to adopt AI capabilities effectively.
- Build and evolve internal developer portals, knowledge hubs, and enablement tools.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, standards, and best practices.
- Partner with engineering, platform, data, and AI teams to improve discoverability and adoption of internal capabilities.
- Gather feedback from engineers and translate insights into scalable enablement solutions.
- Support onboarding, education, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the engineering organization.
- Help establish documentation frameworks and self-service resources that improve engineering productivity.
- Collaborate closely with technical stakeholders and program leadership to drive continuous improvement in developer experience.
Skills and Requirements
- Experience in Developer Experience (Dev Ex), Platform Enablement, Developer Relations, Solutions Engineering, Software Engineering, or Technical Enablement.
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
- Experience building or supporting internal developer portals, engineering platforms, or self-service tooling.
- Understanding of modern software development practices, cloud technologies, APIs, and CI/CD concepts.
- Ability to work directly with engineers to identify challenges and drive adoption of new tools and capabilities.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into scalable documentation and enablement resources.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Big Query, Vertex AI, or related services.
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or generative AI ecosystems.
- Experience with knowledge management, developer portals, documentation platforms, or engineering productivity initiatives.
- Familiarity with software engineering, platform engineering, data, or analytics environments.
