Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Lead Full Stack Developer to support a major KYC transformation initiative within a large banking environment. This role will focus on both modernizing existing applications and developing new applications and functionality from the ground up. The ideal candidate has strong experience across Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS, with the ability to provide technical leadership while remaining actively involved in coding and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead development across both application modernization and new-build initiatives.
- Design and build new applications, services, and functionality from the ground up.
- Modernize and enhance existing KYC applications.
- Develop solutions using Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS.
- Guide developers on coding standards, design patterns, testing, and deployment.
- Partner with Solution Architects to translate architecture into technical implementation.
- Build and support APIs and integrations between legacy, modernized, and newly developed components.
- Participate throughout solution design, development, testing, and production deployment.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop scalable solutions.
Skills and Requirements
- 6+ years of Java/Spring Boot development.
- Strong AWS development and Angular experience.
- Experience with both enterprise application modernization and new application development/new builds.
- Previous Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or senior hands-on development experience.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, application architecture, and SDLC.
- Experience with Agile delivery and Jira.
- Ability to lead technically while remaining hands-on with code.
- Experience within a large enterprise banking environment.
- KYC, AML, or commercial banking experience.
- PostgreSQL.
- AI development or AI integration experience.
- Cloud migration, rehosting, or redeployment experience.
