  • Analyze test results and provide clear technical documentation and recommendations.
  • Leverage AI-assisted coding tools, such as Codex, Claude, or equivalent, to support test development, automation, and productivity.
  • Where applicable, perform testing and troubleshooting of distributed or network-connected system components.
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of software testing experience across automated and manual testing environments.
  • Strong test automation experience, including developing and maintaining automated test suites.
  • Strong programming or scripting experience with Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to a testing strategy, including identifying what should be automated and designing an effective automation approach.
  • Experience testing complex applications or distributed systems.
  • Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience with Kafka, including using Kafka to inject test events or messages.
  • Experience using AI tools for coding or test development, such as Codex, Claude, or equivalent.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, troubleshooting, and tracking software defects.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work directly with software developers and engineering teams.
  • Assets / Nice to Have

Networking experience is considered an asset rather than a core requirement. Relevant experience could include:

  • TCP/IP and the OSI model
  • TCP and UDP
  • IP networks and VLANs
  • Routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, or IS-IS
  • Network troubleshooting, optimization, or security policies
  • NETCONF and g NMI/g NMIc for automated network configuration and management
