Insight Global is looking for a hands-on Scrum Master to support a small, cross-functional product team focused on building and enhancing enterprise software solutions. This person will operate as a coach and facilitator—helping the team stay organized, deliver consistently, and navigate dependencies in a fast-paced Agile/SAFe environment.
You’ll be embedded directly with a development team and partner closely with Product Management to turn customer-driven requirements into actionable, well-structured work.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work closely with the development team to understand ongoing work, priorities, and delivery goals.
- Own and facilitate all Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to keep the team aligned and moving forward.
- Build and maintain Jira boards and dashboards to track sprint progress, team commitments, and overall delivery health.
- Define and track key Agile metrics (velocity, predictability, throughput) to help the team continuously improve.
- Identify and manage cross-team dependencies, ensuring alignment and preventing delivery blockers.
- Proactively remove roadblocks and escape risks that could impact timelines or deliverables.
- Ensure the team is following Agile/SAFe practices and aligning with the broader Agile Release Train (ART) where applicable.
- Coach the team on Agile best practices and help drive continuous improvement over time.
- Partner with Product Owners and Product Managers to help shape, refine, and prioritize work for upcoming sprints.
Skills and Requirements
- Proven experience supporting software development teams as a Scrum Master.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira (building boards, dashboards, tracking metrics).
- Experience running full Agile ceremonies and managing sprint execution end-to-end.
- Ability to manage dependencies and navigate cross-team coordination.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills—comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.
- Experience working in product-driven environments (especially enterprise software or platform teams).
- Exposure to tools like Miro, Confluence, or retrospective tools.
- Scrum certifications (CSM, SAFe, etc.).
- Experience working on platforms that support large-scale enterprise environments (e.g., device management, monitoring, or IT operations tools).
- Prior experience working in pods/smaller Agile teams (6–12 people).
