Drive commercial insurance growth through prospecting, negotiation, and coverage analysis as a Commercial Lines Account Executive. Manage client development across the sales cycle.
This Commercial AE generates leads and develops new commercial insurance opportunities. You will produce profitable accounts while coordinating with Account Managers, insurers, management, and support teams. The work spans needs analysis, quoting, presentations, closing, renewals, and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and inbound opportunities
- Manage prospecting, needs analysis, quoting, presentations, and closing
- Advise clients on coverage, exclusions, exposures, and insurance solutions
- Support renewals, retention, remarketing, cross-selling, and upselling
- Maintain accurate prospect and client documentation while meeting sales targets
Requirements:
- Active RIBO licence in good standing
- Minimum two years of commercial insurance experience
- Strong sales, prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of commercial wordings, coverages, exclusions, and underwriting requirements
- CRM or brokerage management system experience preferred
