Build aircraft interior installation skills with Flexjet in Peterborough, Canada, using hand tools and power tools while learning on the job. This full-time position offers standard Monday-to-Friday hours from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility for operational changes.
As an Interior Installation Apprentice, you will support private aircraft maintenance inside aircraft and shop environments. You will learn to interpret drawings, task cards, and work instructions with guidance. The work includes seats, sidewalls, paneling, carpets, insulation, windows, galleys, and lavatory modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remove, disassemble, clean, inspect, and install interior components
- Support furnishings and appliance installation under supervision
- Assist interior modifications, refurbishments, and repairs
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain organized work areas and communicate work progress
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or hands-on experience considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- English communication and basic Windows and MS Office skills
- Ability to lift and transport up to 40 pounds
