Support tenants at Creekside Apartments in Mississauga using harm reduction, case management, and community resource coordination. This full-time position includes scheduled on-call weeks.
Indwell seeks a Supportive Housing Coordinator for an interdisciplinary program serving people affected by long-term housing instability or extended hospitalizations. You will support treatment, rehabilitation, care, independence, and recovery. The work includes tenant programming, volunteer coordination, admissions, landlord responsibilities, and maintaining a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect harm reduction support
- Connect tenants with community resources and supports
- Plan and facilitate programs and cultural programming
- Coordinate volunteers and assist tenant admissions
- Collect rent and manage pest concerns
Requirements:
- Related post-secondary education or equivalent
- Case management experience with complex support needs
- Current vulnerable sector check and First Aid certification
- Knowledge of local and Indigenous community resources
- Valid G licence and personal vehicle
