Internal Auditor Regulatory Risk in Québec

This Internal Auditor position focuses on regulatory risk, financial crime and fraud audit. You will assess internal controls, support regulatory compliance, and review fraud allegations within Internal Audit. The work includes collaboration with business areas, audit teams and management. The role requires practical knowledge of Institute of Internal Auditors standards and risk management frameworks, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regulatory audits independently or within audit teams
• Assess risks and internal control effectiveness
• Establish timelines with audit teams and management
• Prepare and present audit reports and recommendations
• Monitor action plans and investigate eligible fraud allegations

Requirements:

• University degree in business administration, law or related field
• At least three years of financial services experience
• Knowledge of regulatory authorities and financial institution guidelines
• Advanced French and intermediate English proficiency
• Audit certification or fraud investigation training considered an asset
