Reporting to the Research Mobilization Specialist, you will support research accessibility and application. The role connects findings with decision-makers while centering Indigenous voices, perspectives, and needs. You will create knowledge mobilization products for educators, policymakers, and community leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate findings into reports, briefs, infographics, toolkits, and presentations
- Develop knowledge mobilization plans for assigned research priorities
- Interpret findings for Indigenous education practice, policy, and programs
- Ensure efforts align with Indigenous values and knowledge systems
- Support stakeholder liaison between research teams and external partners
Requirements:
- Degree in education, social sciences, communications, or related field
- One to three years in research mobilization or knowledge translation
- Experience working with Indigenous communities, scholars, or organizations
- Strong communication and complex research synthesis skills
- Knowledge of Indigenous ethics, protocols, and First Nations OCAP
