The IT Service Support Specialist logs, categorizes, assigns, and updates incident tickets while monitoring production systems. This position supports application, operational, and technical issues through phone and email. It also contributes to incident management, major incident support, knowledge sharing, reporting, and service improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second level support by phone and email
- Log, document, assign, and update incident tickets
- Monitor data centre production systems and operational infrastructure
- Escalate critical issues through resolution and follow up
- Maintain knowledge resources and produce established reports
Requirements:
- One to three years troubleshooting with available tools
- Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ticket monitoring software and exceptional customer service experience
- Strong computer background and ability to learn software
- Availability for rotating days, afternoons, and evenings
