Support independent living as a Homemaker with ILS across Simcoe County, providing cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry services. This full-time contract follows weekday hours.
ILS is seeking a Homemaker for an existing contract of up to six months, working 70 hours bi-weekly from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Reporting to the Program Supervisor, you will support client-directed service plans and instrumental activities of daily living. The work serves adults with physical disabilities and seniors aging at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry services
- Promote independent living for community-based clients
- Follow client service plans and directions
- Coordinate professionally with healthcare providers and ILS staff
- Deliver services within ILS policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED equivalency, or greater
- Current First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
- Strong communication, organization, and client service skills
