Inventory accuracy and parts expertise define this on-site Parts Advisor position at Horst Systems in Elmira, Ontario. Support daily operations for customers and technicians.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the full-time, permanent Parts Advisor supports parts, inventory, and customer service functions. You will identify applications, source parts, process orders, and provide accurate availability, pricing, warranty, and billing information. The position supports service work and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and physical inventories
- Source and sell parts to retail, wholesale, internal, and electronic customers
- Order required parts daily from Supervisor and Technician requests
- Complete technician orders and support service parts availability
- Receive materials, verify quantities, and perform warehouse duties
Requirements:
- Two or more years of parts or inventory experience
- Two or more years identifying parts and controlling inventory
- Experience with pricing, invoicing, work orders, and inventory systems
- Ability to interpret manufacturer and supplier information
- Customer-first, organized, accurate, dependable, and collaborative approach
