Apply Ultrasonic Testing and Magnetic Particle Testing expertise at IMT Precision as a Level 2 NDT Technician in a full-time manufacturing role.
You will conduct non-destructive testing using UT and MT methods under CGSB/ISO or NAS410 standards. The position covers equipment setup, part evaluation, result interpretation, documentation, and product quality. You will also guide trainees and Level 1 technicians while maintaining inspection standards and traceability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up equipment for Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Testing
- Evaluate parts and interpret non-destructive testing results
- Document findings and maintain inspection traceability
- Guide trainees and Level 1 technicians
- Apply standards during manufacturing inspections
Requirements:
- Valid CGSB/ISO MT2 and UT1 certification
- Or MT2 and UT2 certification under NAS410
- Documented NDT experience meeting certification requirements
- Ability to work rotating shifts and stand extended periods
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
