This Construction Coordinator supports multiple townhome projects from tender through closeout. The role covers trade tenders, project setup, construction communications, occupancy planning, and final documentation. Success requires strong organization, initiative, and communication across trades, consultants, site teams, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate tender packages, schedules, bid submissions, levelling, and recommendations
- Support project setup, trackers, utility accounts, and construction documentation
- Coordinate RFIs, Site Instructions, change orders, and communications
- Maintain schedules, identify timeline risks, and support occupancy planning
- Manage commissioning, inspections, closeout, and as-built documentation
Requirements:
- Six or more years in Project Coordinator or Administrator roles
- Construction experience, ideally residential construction or development
- Understanding of construction processes from start to finish
- Experience reviewing shop drawings and coordinating project documentation
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for Surrey site travel
