Manage accurate financial transactions as a part-time Bookkeeper supporting accounts payable, reconciliations, and accounting operations for a confidential client. This contract role may convert permanently.
Reporting to the Controller, you will maintain financial records and support daily accounting operations. Responsibilities include invoice processing, payment runs, journal entries, account reconciliations, tax filings, and month-end close. You will also resolve vendor and customer discrepancies while improving bookkeeping workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and process accounts payable invoices
- Prepare payment runs and related reports
- Create purchase orders and complete three-way matching
- Maintain receivables records and monitor outstanding balances
- Improve documented bookkeeping procedures and workflows
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of bookkeeping experience
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online or related applications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and deadline management
- Professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
