Lead ASPE reporting and hands-on accounting as an Interim Corporate Controller in a hybrid contract role, three office days weekly. Manage close activities and guide an established finance team. This experienced leadership role oversees month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes across multiple wholly owned legal entities. You will combine review responsibilities with operational accounting, statutory reporting, audit, tax-related activities, and business partnering. The contract lasts approximately 15–18 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, statements, and supporting schedules
- Manage and develop experienced accounting professionals and managers
- Partner with auditors and tax advisors
- Drive process improvements and finance-related projects
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on accounting and financial reporting experience
- Solid ASPE knowledge in corporate reporting environments
- Experience managing multi-entity organizations
- Strong close, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Strong systems and Excel skills; Dynamics 365 is an asset
