As Associate Director, Canadian Equities, you will lead assigned sector and company coverage within Industrial Alliance Investment Management Inc. Your research spans large-cap and small-cap companies, financial modelling, valuation, scenario analysis, and competitive positioning. You will contribute to active-management discussions, due diligence, and ongoing investment monitoring. Key Responsibilities:
Lead sector and company coverage across Canadian equity mandates Conduct fundamental research, modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis Develop investment theses with catalysts, downside analysis, and risk-reward frameworks Present recommendations and updates to Portfolio Managers Monitor investments, earnings, estimates, valuations, and thesis milestones Requirements:
Five or more years analyzing public companies and recommending stocks Deep expertise in Information Technology, Materials, Energy, Financials, or Real Estate Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or related discipline Advanced financial-modelling, Excel, communication, and research-platform skills Advanced English and French proficiency required Bring rigorous research, sound judgment, and advanced modelling skills to Canadian equity decisions at Industrial Alliance Investment Management Inc.
