Insurance Operations Manager Alberta in Calgary

Lead insurance operations in Alberta with PPI, applying workflow management and people leadership to support independent advisors and service standards. As Manager, Business Operations, you will guide employees, resources, and operational priorities within PPI, an independent subsidiary of iA Financial. The role supports insurance distribution through leadership, reporting, process consistency, and continuous improvement. You will partner with Sales leadership and national operations leaders while supporting evolving processes and service expectations. Key Responsibilities:

Plan employees and resources against productivity, quality, and departmental goals Manage workflow, recruiting, performance reviews, scheduling, and attendance Coach employees through feedback, training, and career development planning Lead escalated cases and align resolutions with operational risk guidelines Report workload, service levels, and performance insights for decisions Requirements:

10+ years of insurance industry experience Strong knowledge of life insurance products and administration systems Proven hiring, coaching, performance management, and team development experience Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder relationship-building skills Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency for reporting and data analysis Bring insurance expertise, operational leadership, and service-focused improvement skills to PPI’s Alberta business operations team.
