Lead Montney production optimization from Calgary, applying forecasting and artificial lift expertise across HWN Energy’s northern assets. As Production Manager, you will report to the VP, Production and own area performance, forecasting, and cost efficiency. You will coordinate with engineering, geology, drilling and completions, joint venture, and field operations teams. The role covers new development, workovers, recompletions, optimizations, and reactivations across Montney and Dunvegan assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track production and identify correction or improvement opportunities
- Lead optimization budgets and execute prioritized opportunities
- Deliver weekly forecasts focused on recovery and new wells
- Optimize new wells within 30 days of startup
- Mentor production team members and visit field operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- P.Eng. registration with APEGA or eligibility
- 10+ years’ Western Canada production or exploitation engineering experience
- Montney or comparable high-pressure flowing well experience
- Artificial lift selection and design knowledge
- Bring production leadership, forecasting, optimization, and artificial lift expertise to HWN Energy’s Calgary-based Montney operations.
