Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this analyst works closely with Financial Accounting. The position prepares financial statements, MD&A, management reporting, and regulatory filings. It also supports close processes, audits, tax compliance, and accounting standards research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly and annual IFRS financial statements and MD&A
- Enhance monthly management reporting packages and variance analysis
- Prepare capital entries, schedules, accruals, and cost movements
- Complete external filings, reconciliations, and financial close support
- Support audits, tax compliance, controls, and Qbyte FM optimization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation and three-plus years of progressive experience
- Strong IFRS and oil and gas accounting knowledge
- High Excel proficiency with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication, organization, integrity, and deadline management
